Jas Makkar is an experienced finance broker with 7 years in the industry, specialising in guiding clients on their investment journey. Jas Dhaliwal brings 15 years’ experience working at some of Australia’s largest banks - ANZ, CBA, and Bankwest prior to joining Icon Money as a partner in 2023. His tenure includes working in the Small Business, Commercial and Institutional Banking divisions where he assisted his clients with transactions ranging from $100k to $100m
He leverages his experience working with large corporates to provide solutions and ideas for his small to medium business clients. He has expertise across commercial property, business purchase, property development, trade & equipment finance, cash flow financing, and unsecured business finance.
Jas is particularly passionate about property development and has proven capabilities in arranging financing solutions for projects large and small. He provides strategic financing advice to property developers from pre-acquisition stages through to project completion and residual debt management.
Jas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and an MBA from UNSW. At Icon Money Jas believes in fostering long term relationships with his clients based on trust, transparency, and a deep understanding of their business.
